Regarding lodging options for MS Ride in Sep...
As you are already aware, the MS start location has moved for 2009 and will be located at Boone County Fairgrounds. Just North of and US-63. For those who prefer the amenities a hotel has to offer, I have 6 rooms reserved at Holiday Inn Express at the same exit I-70 (exit 128). Well, actually 5-1/2 rooms reserved as I am looking for someone to share a room with as well. Each room has two beds and are non-smoking. The rate is $144/night (including tax) or $72/bed/night if sharing room. This hotel opens up the free breakfast early for the riders so plenty of time to eat and then head off to the MS start location. They also have washer/dryer facilities (for those who wish to wear fresh team jersey on day 2).
If you are in need of a room (or rooms), or wish to share a room to minimize costs, please email me and let me know. I will release any vacant rooms by Aug 24.
